The Information Commons Wiki, an object created by the Information Commons Interest Group (ICIG) of the Canadian Library Association. The current project is the beginnings for a policy statement on open access for the CLA.
I see this as an important initiative, since I believe that open access journals may provide public librarians with increased opportunities to publish. Wikis are a great way to be involved with the association on a daily, rather than “once a year” basis and I’m glad to see the CLA attempting things like this.
One criticism — there ought to be something resembling a logo on the upper right hand side of the page folks! I mean the page is actually linked! Just check the documentation for MediaWiki and you’ll see what you have to do to change it. It’s just a minor change to create the logo and change the localsettings file to link it up.
